About Us
Dan has been working on bikes since he began leading long-distance cycling trips for teens in 2015.
Cycling across the United States and Europe down California's coastline, and through countless shorter trips in and around New England, Dan learned how to get his students and their bikes safely across thousands of miles. Following this stint as a guide, he began working in established bike and ski shops in Denver and Golden, CO.
Block Party Bikes and Skis came from the combination of Dan's mechanical skills and his passion for getting adults, kids, and families out on their bikes.
The goal for Block Party is to help make this happen. Instead of dragging the family bikes or your faithful steed to a bike shop, we come to you! With the goal that a mobile shop is more efficient, cheaper, and can still achieve the same functions that an established shop can. If we can't, we will tell you exactly what to ask for at a brick and mortar shop. Check out our rates and feel free to send along your questions.
We go to trail heads and public parks, collaborate with local businesses, and can even right to your neighborhood.
